Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken ahead of the conversion of the area into a restaurant. The excavations revealed the existence of a cobbled surface which was thought to date to approximately the 17th century. Also a possible original wall was also discovered although it had collapsed at some point in antiquity. [AIP] |
