Abstract: |
The site was subject to an open-area excavation prior to the construction of a substantial residential development. To date only very limited spot dating of pottery found on the site had taken place and environmental samples had yet to be analysed. At the time of publication it was understood that the site was first settled during the first century BC, that it almost certainly represented a small farming community and that the site reached the peak of expansion between the end of the second and the middle of the third century AD.
