Abstract: |
A watching brief, undertaken during the excavation of a pipe-trench for a sewer link along a road adjacent to a field containing the earthwork remains of an Augustinian Friary, revealed that the laying of a previous sewer had already destroyed any archaeological remains on this site with the exception of the foundations of an undated stone wall.
