Abstract: |
Two trial trenches were excavated in advance of the construction of a block of flats. No archaeological deposits were observed or finds recovered. Both evaluation trenches revealed deep truncation of the natural gravel, possibly indicating that the site had been used as a quarry in the late post-medieval. [Au(adp)] |
