Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on 7.82ha area of arable land, prior to development. Although Roman and possibly Iron Age settlements were known in its immediate environs, no archaeological evidence was encountered in the evaluation, with the exception of four small features which were undated and may have been natural, and occasional pieces of worked flint which were present in the topsoil.
