Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation, comprising the excavation of a single trial trench, was undertaken in advance of the development of the site. The development project involved the conversion of the former school building into flats and the construction of three new houses. The evaluation revealed a single archaeological feature, an east-west aligned pit of post-medieval date cutting the natural brickearth. No archaeological finds or features of earlier date were located. [Au(abr)]
