Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site within an Archaeological Priority Zone. In 1990, an evaluation at the site had revealed a timber revetment, possibly of 13th century date, and a 15th-16th century ditch. During the 1995 evaluation, parts of a late medieval and a post-medieval revetment were found. Post-medieval reclamation dumps were present, and pottery dating from the 14th-15th and 17th-18th centuries was recovered. [AIP] |
