Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken for an area of Cambridge proposed for redevelopment. The position of the Lion Yard Block was such that its archaeology would reflect early development in a centrally important part of Cambridge. Due to previous development on the site however, much of this record will have been destroyed, making that which survives increasingly valuable. Archaeological intervention and observation was recommended during groundworks. [Au(adp)] |
