Abstract: |
Six trenches were excavated revealing mainly 19th to 20th century occupation. In trench 1, two small fragments of burnt flint were found in a 19th century context. Two further small fragments of burnt flint were found in trench 6, again in a 19th century context. Other than the burnt flint, the only finds were 19th to 20th century brick and tile. All the features found related to the 19th to 20th century and all traces of Sutton Court appeared to have been destroyed by these later structures. [Au] |
