Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the conversion of three shops into one property. A pit dating to the 16th - 18th century and two undated chalk wall foundations were identified along with sequences of undated and post-medieval deposits. A quantity of medieval and post-medieval pottery was also recovered. [Au] |
