Abstract: |
<summary>Fieldwalking was undertaken along the route of the water-main after topsoil-stripping; a number of prehistoric flints were recovered. These finds, in conjunction with previous flint finds and that of a socketed bronze spearhead, suggest prehistoric activity in the area. The excavation of the pipe trench was observed where possible. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
