Abstract: |
Five evaluation trenches were excavated as an evaluation of the site prior to proposed development. No evidence of human activity earlier than the 19th cenury was discovered during the evaluation. The report concluded that, across most of the site, all archaeological strata would have been destroyed as a result of Victorian horticultual activity and subsequent clearance and development of the site in the 1930's.
