Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was undertaken on a proposed development area. The assessment identified that although the site had been impacted by the railway and post-medieval building, there was a potential for archaeology. The site was identified as being in between prehistoric settlements and potentially contained routes between the settlements. The Roman road Watling Street, was also identified crossing the site and may have had associated features. [Au(abr)] |
