Abstract: |
A watching brief was held over work to enhance the environment of Walsall town centre. Trenches cut by the groundwork contractors were monitored. Nothing of archaeological interest was seen and it was stated that no foreseeable effect could be envisaged on any archaeology present, if the below-ground disturbances were limited to the depths observed within the watching brief. Deeper groundworks would, however, require provision for further archaeological work. [Au(adp)] |
