Abstract: |
Trial trenching revealed no archaeological features. One of the buildings surveyed, Park House had several phases of construction, the earliest having typological parallels with medieval long houses found in Cumbria. The topographic survey recorded a small complex of buildings, pens and enclosures (a smallholding), building platforms and evidence of localised quarrying. [AIP] |
