Abstract: |
A probable post-medieval north-south boundary ditch was shown to continue to the south beyond the limits suggested by the results of an earlier geophysical survey. No other burials or any other features were identified either during the soil strip or the subsequent watching brief to match the level of activity east of Bullerthorpe Lane around the three round barrows. It had not been possible to C14 date the cremated bone recovered during the previous phase of fieldwork. [Au(abr)] |
