Abstract: |
Systematic fieldwalking carried out at a proposed development site identified two concentrations of worked flint, the greater of which appeared to continue into areas outside the proposal area. Both scatters were largely Bronze Age in character, although a Mesolithic and Late Neolithic date was suggested for some of the material. The potential for in situ survival of archaeological deposits was considered to be higher in the vicinity of the main concentration. [Au(abr)] |
