Abstract: |
Bronze Age and Iron Age activity had previously been identified around the village and later Romano-British and Saxon pottery was retrieved during construction of a bypass. Although, the site lay within the medieval village and earthworks of this settlement no archaeological features or deposits were identified during the investigation. However, a small quantity of artefacts, mainly 18th and 19th century pottery, were retrieved from the topsoil. [Au(abr)] |
