Abstract: |
The assessment located the probable positions of the Great and Little Quays, which were constructed in the 17th century. Other archaeological remains were also identified and would be expected during intrusive works. The majority of the remains would date from at least 1600 through to the late 19th century and be associated with the development of the Barnstaple waterfront. [AIP] |
