Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment prior to the construction of new houses concluded that the application site was situated in an area with archaeological potential. The SMR indicated that the surrounding area had some evidence of archaeological remains and the possibility of preserved environmental evidence must also be considered, due to the proximity of the site to the River Soar and Fishpool Brook. An archaeological watching brief had been commissioned to record any archaeological deposits that may have been affected by the development. [Au(abr)] |
