Abstract: |
The evaluation recorded garden soils and horticultural features dating from the 18th to 20th century. Several land boundaries identified during excavation could be matched to cartographic evidence, helping to chart the chronological development of the site. A concentration of post holes and pits infilled with domestic hearth waste were observed towards the southern end of the site, around a pathway through a gap in one of these boundary walls.
