Abstract: |
The watching brief recorded two archaeological features, comprising a small ditch and a truncated pit. The pit contained a broken prehistoric flint flake and a small quantity of burnt flint, and the ditch remained undated. However, it did contain burnt flint, which could have been an indication of prehistoric activity. Both features were found in the area to the north of Keeper's Gate field, just to the south of an excavated Late Bronze Age settlement site. [AIP] |
