Abstract: |
There were 33 archaeological sites and findspots recorded within a 2km radius of the site, from the Mesolithic to the post-medieval period. This low level of data was thought to reflect the low level of fieldwork carried out in the area. However, service trenches excavated in the early 20th century would have impacted any archaeological remains present. The site was therefore thought to have a low potential for the recovery of archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
