Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out and environmental samples were taken during the excavation of a pond, at a site which lay on the north bank of the River Don. Two cropmark sites lay in the area, and prehistoric flint artefacts had been found at two locations. During the watching brief, no archaeological deposits were encountered. No apparent archaeological material was recovered from the environmental samples. [AIP] |
