Abstract: |
The evaluation consisted of nine trenches located in a field to the south of the Fosse Way. No evidence of Roman or earlier deposits were identified. The examination of all recovered finds indicated that there was no evidence for significant on-site activity. All finds from the medieval to the modern periods were the result of manuring or the discard of general rubbish. [Au(abr)] |
