Abstract: |
An evaluation as part of Scheduled Monument Consent discovered three archaeological features, a pit or quarry pit in Trench 1, a probable quarry pit in Trench 2 and a robbed out foundation trench in Trench 3. A buried soil was also recorded. The features were thought to date from the medieval to post-medieval periods by the pottery assemblage recovered. [Au(adp)] |
