Abstract: |
The evaluation concluded that the landscaping of the site had sealed significant archaeological remains of Horsley Gaol and associated buildings. These remains included substantial structures and floor surfaces. Structures pre-dating the Gaol also survived on the site, and may have been associated with the medieval priory. [Au(abr)] |
