Abstract: |
<summary>The excavation proved to be important as information concerning the environment and landscape within the Thames Valley was gleaned. A former watercourse, which was once of substantial size, was observed; it could have existed up until the 17th century. The early wall seemed to date from before 1830 and along with the 17th-19th century layers uncovered, provided important archaeological information about the topography and development of the buried landscape. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
