Abstract: |
An evaluation comprising geophysical survey and trial trenching on land at Glebe Farm, located on the eastern edge of Minchinhampton (an area noted for an extensive, complex and exceptionally well-preserved collection of earthworks) was undertaken. Initial geophysical survey revealed a series of possible archaeological features, including a putative continuation of the extant ditch. Subsequent trial trenching succesfully identified the presence of a linear features although dating of the features was not possible. No significant archaeological features were encountered within the remainder of the study area. [Au(adp)] |
