Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out on the former site of a warehouse. Earlier findings in the area indicated that the site had some potential for prehistoric remains. Roman, Saxon and medieval remains had been noted in the vicinity. One trench was excavated, but no archaeological features were revealed. Some residual prehistoric flints and a single sherd of 13th-14th century pottery were recovered. No further work was recommended. [AIP] |
