Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site which was crossed by the projected line of Grim's Dyke. Two ditches and a pit containing a fragment of daub and a struck flint were revealed. An early post-medieval pit and ditch were also found; a large quantity of roof tile may have indicated nearby tile production in the 17th century. No trace was found of Grim's Dyke. [AIP] |
