Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Recording and sampling of environmentally significant deposits within a palaeochannel was undertaken in advance of mineral extraction. Following topsoil stripping three faces were recorded at circa 75m intervals. In total, 33 individual sections were recorded. Organic material was taken for palynological, radiocarbon and macrofossil analysis. [AIP]
