Abstract: |
The evaluation recorded evidence for medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, as well as a series of earlier gullies that may have represented part of an Iron Age or Roman field system. No finds were recovered to support this, however. The survival of the ridge and furrow may have indicated that there was limited potential for the recovery of archaeological material at the western end of the site. [Au(adp)] |
