Abstract: |
The proposed development site lay within the Hazard area for Newbiggin Medieval Village. The numerous earthworks which surrounded the village of Newbiggin suggested that the medieval village was larger than the modern day village. The site was therefore situated in an area of high archaeological potential. [Au(abr)] |
