Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks for the construction of a garage extension to a house located within the Scheduled Ancient Monumnet of the Roman walled settlement of Petuaria (SAM Humberside 98). A possible external yard surface or upper road surface was identified, truncated by later features interpreted as probable small quarry and rubbish pits. [AIP] |
