Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during construction work within the grounds of a school. Roman remains, a deserted medieval village and an undated well had been recorded in the surrounding area. During the watching brief, two medieval tile fragments, a sherd of medieval pottery and pieces of modern pottery were recovered. No archaeological features were observed. [AIP] |
