Abstract: |
A watching brief during groundworks for the construction of residential accommodation for students revealed no archaeological features. The ground appeared to have been disturbed and landscaped, probably utilising spoil from the 1960's development. Examination of standing retaining walls removed during the development confirmed that they were of 18th century construction. [Auths words]. |
