Abstract: |
<summary>Most medieval features on the site were removed by truncation caused by construction of a garage on the site. The majority of walls were of 19th century or later date. One possible exception had, however, been badly damaged by modern service-trenching, so its true form was not apparent; no dating evidence was available. One burial was found on site; this was aligned on an east-west axis and contained within a wooden coffin. It was assumed to be associated with the chapel, but no dating evidence was found. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 288 |
