Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on a package of enhancement works to the area immediately associated with Scarisbrick Cross within the confines of a SAM (23744). The watching brief revealed that the site of Scarisbrick Cross had been previously enhanced, this included the realignment of the roadside wall, along with the raising of the ground level around the cross. No features of archaeological interest were observed and no finds were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
