Abstract: |
During the course of the evaluation it was concluded that the building seen in Trenches 1a and b corresponded with that seen on the 1937 OS 1:2500 map and was a late Victorian Villa. The foundations and floors of a second Villa to the east were still visible on the site. No archaeological remains earlier than c1880 were observed during the evaluation.[Au(abr)] |
