Abstract: |
The assessment formed part of a Cultural Heritage Proposal (Draft) and identified the following archaeologial features within three different potential development areas: an early medieval village, a medieval shrunken village, a post-medieval/modern church and chapel, Iron Age/Romano-British field systems and undated enclosures/ring ditch. Three different option areas were suggested for the site of the development and it was recommended that an option area should be chosen. Further work reccomended included an earthwork survey and trial trenching. [AIP] |
