Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out on a small rural industrial complex. A hearth filled with smelting waste and a flue were uncovered. The hearth's last use was dated to between 1430 and 1470 AD, contemporary to Welbeck Abbey. Nearby was a platform; a trench was put across it and a pit containing waste slag was found. [Au(abr)] |
