Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation (10 trial trenches) was undertaken prior to the granting of planning permission for the residential development of the site. Two ditches, one modern and one probably medieval or later, were recorded. One sherd of early Saxon pottery and one sherd of either Saxon or Iron Age date, were recovered as residual finds.
