Abstract: |
An evaluation found a number of features identified as tree-throws. The one feature of human origin was a shallow scoop in the chalk containing part of a human skeleton. The burial was of indeterminate form but was probably crouched. A date of c.1350 BC was obtained by radiometric dating, placing the burial in the Middle Bronze Age. There was no sign of a ring ditch around it. [Au(abr)] |
