Abstract: |
Work on a series of six trial pits and two boreholes was monitored prior to the development to the rear of the existing building. Relatively recent archaeological deposits and features were recorded in section in a number of the trial pits, all were of post-medieval date. These deposits comprised garden soils, post-medieval dumping and features associated with the development of the site from the 18th century to the recent past. [Au(abr)] |
