Abstract: |
The assessment identified the site as lying close to Halton castle and abbey. A medieval pond lay on the site till the 19th century and was part of an extensive parkland in the 18th and 19th century. The area was re landscaped in the 1960s including the insertion of a pond. [Au(abr)] |
