Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken on the construction of a block of flats. The excavations revealed three features of post-medieval date, which may have been associated with Earls Hill House which formerly occupied the site, and a well which may have been of earlier origin. Any potential evidence for other earlier activity on the site was likely to have been destroyed by heavy post-medieval and modern disturbance. [Au(abr)] |
