Abstract: |
An examination of the archaeological background of the site indicated that a small quantity of Roman pottery was recovered from the application area during the construction of the post office in 1913. In addition, although contemporary records were sparse, medieval or Roman walling may have been recovered on the site in the same period. [Au] |
