Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of a pipe trench for a gas pipeline. The observation was conducted through deposits which were associated with the construction of the present road. Layer 4 may have been associated with the destruction of the 17th century Palace buildings which extended within the development area. [Au(adp)] |
