Abstract: |
The potential for the site to contain archaeological deposits from the prehistoric and Roman periods was unclear, as the nature and extent of activity from these periods in Wendover was not fully understood. During the medieval and post-medieval periods the proposed development site appeared to have laid outside the burgage plots of the medieval borough, and may have been an orchard or garden.
